About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, I've always enjoyed going to retail stores. I was mesmerized by the countless textures, colors, silhouettes that were both in the windows and on the sales floor. So when it came time for college applications, I was set on studying fashion design. To prepare, I took pre-college courses at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC and interned for a luxury womenswear brand. For undergrad, I studied Apparel Design at University of Delaware. In my first sewing class, the teacher bluntly said, "only a third of you will stay in this program; it's one of the most difficult programs on campus." Proud to say I was in that third and earned the Bachelor of Science degree.During college years, I studied abroad in Hong Kong twice, once to do a Summer Internship for Guess and once to visit corporate offices, meet with industry professionals, and tour factories in Shenzhen, China. I also assisted a fashion designer in Beijing, China.Post-graduation, I worked in both retail and corporate fashion. For retail, I was at Madewell on Madison Ave and Lord & Taylor Department Store on 5th Ave, NYC. On the corporate side, I worked on the Fabric Team at Lafayette148, a luxury womenswear brand. Needless to say, I saw a lot of the inner workings of both corporate and retail, and the inevitable gaps between the two spheres.Later on, I decided to pursue a continuing education program at FIT for Fashion Events Planning. Little did I know this would lead me to opportunities to work backstage at NYFW, Men's Fashion Week, Bridal Fashion Week, and more. I dressed models, steamed garments, met designers, etc. It was an incredibly enriching adventure. And then, I had the opportunity to assist a professional stylist in person in NYC! Being in her world sparked a sense of aliveness that was simultaneously familiar and new. From hosting corporate workshops to doing campaign photoshoots to working one on one with private clients, she was able to do it all under the title of professional stylist. I thought, "what a wonderful career!"The cherry on top was when I played the in-person stylist on set in 2021 for a magazine photoshoot in Los Angeles. Sincerely Jules wanted to do one last look and didn't know what to wear. I quickly put together an outfit and to my pleasant surprise, that outfit made the cover. When I saw that magazine cover, it hit me - I have a gift to share. And, it would be a disservice to both myself and others to not share. Styling is an art, a tool for self-expression, and a medium that cures more than you may consciously realize.Clearly, fashion has been my livelihood in so many ways for most of my life. I have a ton of knowledge to share, from garment construction to styling clients, and retail customers to industry experience. Let's just say I've got a lot of stories.Within the last few years, I have become a big thrifter and passionate about sustainability. Being in Los Angeles has shifted my mindset and behavior around shopping for the better and I am so grateful. Honestly, every one plays a part in making our Mother Earth happy.Today, I work with private clients and infuse my services with intention and ritual. It is a true honor and joy to be your guide.

FAQ

1. What exactly is a sustainable personal stylist?
I help you align your wardrobe with your values and who you’re becoming while highlighting the secondhand market and sustainable brands. Together, we focus on making thoughtful and intentional choices.
2. Who do you work with?
I work with people who are done playing small. You know you’re evolving and your wardrobe should reflect that. I style all bodies from petite to plus and in-between. If you’re curious, growth-oriented, and ready to stop hiding behind clothes that don’t fit your life (or your values), I’m here to guide you.
3. I’m not into fashion. Is this still for me?
Yes! This is about feeling good. You don’t need to care about fashion to care about how you feel in your clothes. Together, we build a wardrobe that works for your body, your life, and your values. Simple. Intentional. You.
4. What if my body is changing?
You’re not alone. Whether it’s post-breakup, post-baby, or simply stepping into your next era, I’ve got you!
5. Is this gender-inclusive?
Always. I style humans, not gender boxes.
6. Do I need to buy all new clothes?
Nope. We start with what you already have and build from there. This isn’t about buying more. It’s about making smarter, more aligned choices.
7. What’s your philosophy on shopping sustainably?
Buy less. Choose well. Make it last. I guide you toward secondhand finds, ethical brands, and intentional purchases that match your style, values, and budget.
8. How do I get started?
Easy - just head to my Calendly link and schedule your Style Consult call. Upon scheduling, I’ll email you the intake form that will guide our consult session.
